In her eyes he is everything the finest knight should be Strong, handsome, chivalrous, with great skills and loyalty She does not see his weakness or dwell on his bad moods She thinks he is entitled occasionally to brood Her eyes are for no other - They focus just on him She takes him not as a lover, but craves him as a friend In her eyes she has done nothing wrong - She stays at a safe distance But every time she looks at him she's testing her resistance She does not want to hurt him or interfere with his life After all she has a husband and knows he has a wife So she attempts to convince her heart to have faith in her lies Knowing he would see into her soul if he looked in her eyes |
